چکیده
Abstract Triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most aggressive subtype, which often results in distant metastasis and dismal prognosis. Unfortunately, current treatments for TNBC are not effective due to its resistance immunotherapy. Recent studies indicate that B7‐H4 immune checkpoint overexpression inflammation‐initiated neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) closely associated with poor immunotherapy outcome of TNBC. This study finds a checkpoint‐based photodynamic nanodrug combined NETs regulation enables potent therapeutic The induces antitumor immunity via therapy, enabling cascade reinforcement target‐based outcomes. By combining DNase I nanodrug, potentiates immunotherapeutic efficacy by disrupting barrier between tumor cells T cells, reinforcing response antimetastasis efficacy. combination therapy demonstrates powerful ability suppressing growth metastasis, offering robust approach treating immune‐cold while addressing

Regulation of neutrophil extracellular trap formation by anti-inflammatory drugs.
The formation of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) is a newly described phenomenon that increases the bacteria-killing ability and the inflammatory response of neutrophils. Because NET generation occurs in an inflammatory microenvironment, we examined its regulation by anti-inflammatory drugs. Treatment of neutrophils with dexamethasone had no effect, but acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) treatmen...

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has developed over last century and is now becoming a more widely used medical tool having gained regulatory approval for the treatment of various diseases such as cancer and macular degeneration. It is a two-step technique in which the delivery of a photosensitizing drug is followed by the irradiation of light. Activated photosensitizers transfer energy to molecular ...
متن کاملMechanical ventilation induces neutrophil extracellular trap formation.
BACKGROUND Mechanical ventilation can injure the lung and induce a proinflammatory state; such ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI) is associated with neutrophil influx. Neutrophils release DNA and granular proteins as cytotoxic neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). The authors hypothesized that NETs were produced in a VILI model and may contribute to injury. METHODS In a two-hit lipopolysa...
متن کاملNeutrophil Extracellular Trap Production in Patients with Colorectal Cancer In Vitro
PURPOSE Neutrophil Extracellular Traps (NETs) are extracellular neutrophil derived DNA webs which have been implicated in cancer progression and in the development of metastases. NETs production in patients with colorectal cancer was investigated to elucidate their role and prognostic significance. METHODS Systemic neutrophils were isolated from consecutive patients with colorectal cancer and...
متن کاملAn extracellular matrix-based mechanism of rapid neutrophil extracellular trap formation in response to Candida albicans.
The armament of neutrophil-mediated host defense against pathogens includes the extrusion of a lattice of DNA and microbicidal enzymes known as neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). The receptor/ligand interactions and intracellular signaling mechanisms responsible for elaborating NETs were determined for the response to Candida albicans. Because the host response of extravasated neutrophils t...
